Kathy and John Kish met on South Meridian under L.S.. Ayres clock.over 40 years ago. They saw my paintings of a woman with the red umbrella and asked if I would paint them on South Meridian. I used some of their photos and imagination to recreate the place where their love and life started. in addition to that, John managed the projects of building new Indianapolis airport, Monument Museum and White River Park, among other things. So I was thrilled to paint a painting for someone who has such intimate connection to Indianapolis.
Watercolor on canvas, 24x36. Prints available,
