“Keep your eye on the horizon and wind in your sail”
My customer from Fort Wayne encountered me at the fair in Fort Wayne last summer and almost right away told me “I was looking for an artist who can realize my vision for 10 years and I think you are it!” she said to me.
The sail boat belonged to her and her late husband, she asked me to put it in the “European” setting of my imagination. So I was not constrained by the images of how it should be, as sometimes it happens with commissions. My scenery was a stitch of imagination and memories of Maine, Bretagne and even Indiana.
Watercolor on 2" watercolor canvas, 24x36. Prints available.
